Threadlockers, Class 10.9

Thread-locking compounds are single-component adhesives applied to the threads of fasteners like screws, bolts, and nuts. Most thread-lockers are anaerobic epoxies, meaning they cure in the absence of oxygen when confined between metal surfaces.Thread-lockers come in different strengths, and they are typically color-coded to indicate their strength.
