Slotted Hex Nut , Non-Electrolytic Zinc & Aluminum Flakes + Matrix
Slotted Hex Nuts server a similar purpose to castle nuts, in that they have an end with slots, and are used with a cotter pin to lock a nut in a particular position on a threaded shaft (usually an axle). A slotted hex nut is fully hexagonal for its length.
