signs and labels are visual communication devices used to warn about hazards, state required actions, or convey critical safety information in workplaces and on products. They combine text, colors, and symbols (e.g., DANGER, WARNING, pictograms) to identify the type and severity of a hazard and how to avoid it, following standards such as OSHA hazard communication and ANSI Z535 for safety signs and product safety labels.
