Serrated Hex Flange Screws, Electrolytic Zinc Basecoat + Topcoats (Climacoat, Climaseal, etc.)
Serrated Hex Flange Screws, Serrated hex Flange Bolts and commonly known by their trade name as Whiz-Lock Bolts, are unslotted hex head flange screws that have serrations under the flange, or on the bearing surface. The flange provides more strength than a regular hex screw, and in some applications, the serrations eliminate the need for lock washers or lock nuts.
