M3, Rivet Screw (Rivscrew etc.)
A rivet screw (often called a rivscrew or screw rivet) is a hybrid fastener that combines the permanent anchoring of a rivet with the threaded function of a screw. It is installed by deforming or expanding part of the fastener in the material like a rivet, creating a secure, often permanent anchor with internal threads that can then accept a mating screw or bolt for serviceable assembly.
