6 Key Locking Inserts
Key Locking Inserts, also commonly known by their trade-names Keensert®, Keysert®, Loksert®, etc., are internally and externally threaded inserts with vertical keys attached to the top on the insert. They are installed by being screwed into a pre-drilled and pre-tapped hole, and during installation the keys are driven into the tapped threads of the parent to provide a positive mechanical lock. They are used to repair stripped or damaged threads or to provide reinforcement in a weak parent material.
