Huckbolts™, Class 5.8
Lock Bolts are most commonly used in the trucking industry. The purpose is to provide a strong threaded attachment point on a sheet metal type surface. Lock bolts are permanent fastener assemblies consisting of two parts, a threaded pin and a collar. Assembly requires access to both sides of the joint. The threaded pin is inserted from one side, and the collar from the other side. The collar is either swaged tightly against the threaded pin, or screwed tightly against it .
