Star grips are ergonomically shaped hand knobs used for manual clamping, tightening, and adjustments on machinery, fixtures, and equipment. They have a multi-lobed “star” shape that lets a person apply good torque by hand, even with gloves or in oily environments, making them common on jigs, fixtures, machine guards, and adjustable stops.
