Anchor Bolts, ASTM A449
A Straight Anchor Bolt is a long, straight steel rod with threads on one or both ends, designed to secure structural or non-structural elements—such as steel columns, machinery, or plates—to concrete foundations. Unlike hooked anchor bolts, straight anchor bolts do not have a bent or hooked end; instead, they typically feature a welded plate or nut at the embedded end to enhance their holding strength within concrete and prevent pullout.
