Welded Branch Outlet Connections (Threadolet, Weldolet, etc.)

Welded branch outlet connections such as Weldolet, Sockolet, and Threadolet are specialized fittings used to create a reinforced branch connection from a larger “run” pipe to a smaller branch pipe without using a full tee. They are contoured, self‑reinforcing outlets that are welded (or threaded, in the case of Threadolet) onto a hole cut in the header pipe so the branch can be attached with good flow characteristics and reduced local stress compared with a simple stub‑in weld.
