Slotted Pipe Plugs
A slotted pipe plug is a threaded plug used to seal the end or a tapped opening of a pipe, fitting, or component, with a straight screwdriver slot in its head for installation and removal. The plug’s male pipe threads provide a pressure‑tight seal when screwed into a matching female pipe thread, and the slotted, usually flush or countersunk head lets it sit below or flush with the surface so it will not snag or obstruct nearby components.
