Pushnuts
Push‑on retainers such as pushnuts and press nuts are one‑way, spring‑steel fasteners that are pushed onto a stud, shaft, or bolt to grip it without threading. They act like a toothed washer: the internal prongs bite into the shaft so the fastener can slide on in the installation direction but resists coming back off, providing a quick, low‑profile way to retain parts without using a conventional nut or tools.

Pushnuts are available on the FCH Network with Imperial/US diameters that range from #1 to 4 1/2 and with Metric diameters that range from M1 to M30.
