Sockets

A Socket is a tool that is used to tighten a hex headed or twelve pointed screw. The socket is attached either directly or by an extension to a socket wrench or other type of wrench, which is used to turn the socket.

Sockets are usually available in sets, and are widely used in maintenance and manufacture of many different types of assemblies.
