Drive Pin Rivets, All ASME Grades of Steel (DIN 7341)
A Drive Pin Rivet, sometimes called a Pin Grip Rivet, is a type of blind rivet consisting of a body and a short mandrel that protrudes from the top of the head. Like other rivets, the purpose is to join two materials together. Whereas a blind rivet is set by drawing the mandrel back through the head, a drive pin rivet is set by forcing the mandrel back through the head, expanding the body, and fixing the two materials together.
