DIN 9925 External Push-On Snap Ring for Shafts Round Crossection by Material, Finish and Size

Push On External Shaft Retainers are made from spring steel and are circular fasteners with teeth (or tangs) on the inside circumference of the retaining ring. Like other external retaining rings, their purpose is to stop the movement of an assembly along a shaft. They are installed axially on the shaft, and the tangs grio the shaft, so they do not require a machined groove for location.
