DIN 604 Flat Plow Bolt with Nip with Hex Nut by Material, Finish and Size

Plow Bolts or Scraper Blade Bolts are designed for use on road graders, snow plows and similar heavy equipment. The dome style head provides extended bolt life. Generally, a # 3 head plow bolt made to the dimensional requirements of ASME B18.9 is referred to as a “Flat” head design, and to call a plow bolt that is made to the heavy duty head design is referred to as “Dome”head.

Search thousands of Metric fasteners by DIN specification, including DIN 604 Plow Bolts, in the FCH Sourcing Network database of first-run, surplus, odd lot, slow-moving and hard to find fasteners.

Countersunk, flat head, square collar, and unified thread pitch are all features of plow bolts. Grade-5 plow bolts are made of heat-treated medium-grade carbon steel, while Grade-8 plow bolts are made of heat-treated alloy steel and have a higher tensile and proof load strength. Bulldozers and snow ploughs blades are the most popular applications for Grade-8.
Common applications of Plow Bolts are:

  • • Road Graders
  • • Scoop Shovels
  • • Agricultural Plows
