#6-32 Spade Bolts
Spade Bolts and Eye Couplings serve a similar purpose: to provide an attachment point for a wire. The difference is in the non-flattened end. A Spade Bolt has an external thread on the non-flattened end, while an eye coupling has an internal thread for attaching to a hanger rod. The flattened spade-like head has drilled hole, which is used as an attachment-point for wire. They're usually zinc plated for corrosion resistance in wet environments, and sometimes stainless steel.
