Rivet Studs , ASTM F1941-10 Fe/Zn-Ni
Blind Threaded Stud Inserts, sometimes called Pull Up Studs, or by their common trade-name RivStud®, are threaded inserts with a round, knurled body, and a projecting machine screw thread stud. The stud insert is inserted into a pre-drilled hole with an insertion tool, and as the threaded portion pulls up, the back of the body of the insert bulbs out, forming a mechanical lock around the hole.
