Hex Spacers , Chromate Conversion (Iridite, Alodine)
Hex Spacers are hexagonal, unthreaded fasteners with a hole through the center and opposite flat ends. The purpose of a hex spacer is to maintain a set distance between two objects. They are manufactured to much looser tolerances than shims or shim washers, and sometimes they may be considered decorative.
