Cord & Cable Grips, 316, 317, A4 Stainless
In electronic components, cord and cable grips are strain‑relief and sealing fittings used where a flexible cord or cable enters a device, enclosure, or panel. They clamp and seal around the outer jacket so tension, bending, or pulling on the cord is absorbed by the grip instead of the internal terminations, and they often also provide environmental protection (dust, moisture) and sometimes grounding for shielded or armored cables.
