2, Barbed Fittings
Barbed Hose or Pipe Fittings are designed for flexible plastic tubing. They can be produced from steel or plastic, and sometimes brass. The barbed part of the fitting grips the inside of the flexible tube and stops it from coming undone, and seals the joint.
