Die Stock
A hand die holder is a mechanical tool designed to securely hold round threading dies for the manual cutting of external threads on rods, bolts, or shafts. The die is placed into the holder with its notch facing upwards, and then fastening screws—typically three to five, depending on the holder's size—are tightened to lock the die firmly in place. This ensures the die remains stable and square during threading operations, which is essential for producing accurate and uniform threads
