Shims, Aluminum (DIN 988)
Shim Washers, or just Shims, are round or square washers manufactured with carefully controlled thicknesses to provide measured spacing between assemblies. They may feature a slot for insertion into an existing connection, in which case they are known as body shim washers for their use in the automotive aftermarket to make adjustments to bodywork.
