Serrated Flange Lock Nuts, Galvanized (ASME B18. 2.2)
Serrated Flange Lock Nuts, or Whiz-Lock® nuts, have a wide flange at one end that is serrated on the under side. On tightening, the serrations bite into the mating surface providing the locking feature.
