Electrical lugs and terminals are connection hardware used to attach electrical conductors to devices, equipment, or junction points.​Electrical lugs are conductive fittings (often copper or aluminum) crimped, soldered, or bolted to the end of a cable so it can be securely fastened to a stud, busbar, or equipment pad, providing a robust, low‑resistance connection especially in power applications.​Electrical terminals are standardized connection points or end‑fittings (such as ring, fork, blade, pin, and spade terminals) that terminate a wire and allow it to be connected or disconnected from blocks, screws, or plug‑in connectors, simplifying assembly, maintenance, and replacement in control, signal, and power circuits.
