Push-on Bolt Retainers

Push‑on bolt retainers are thin, stamped fasteners that are pushed onto a screw or bolt to hold it in position temporarily, usually before a nut is installed. They use spring “teeth” that grip the bolt shank so the bolt cannot fall out of a panel or component during handling, shipment, or pre‑assembly, but the joint is still completed later with a conventional nut.
