Handwheels

In industrial hardware, handwheels are manually operated, circular control elements mounted on a shaft or stem to adjust or actuate machinery, equipment, or valves by hand rotation. They provide a large, ergonomic gripping surface so an operator can apply torque precisely—such as to position machine slides, set adjustments on equipment, or open and close industrial valves where fine control or multi‑turn motion is required.
