Split Lock Washers , Dry Film Lubricant Coating (Dicronite, MolyKote, etc.)
Split Lock Washers feature a helical-shaped split ring that has also been twisted. When fastened, the two sharp ends exert a spring force on the fastener to create increased friction and resistance to motion. Helical spring lock washers are the most common form of lock washer and are best suited to applications with smaller loads.
