Serrated Flange Lock Nuts, Electrolytic Zinc Basecoat + Topcoats (Climacoat, Climaseal, etc.)
Serrated Flange Lock Nuts, or Whiz-Lock® nuts, have a wide flange at one end that is serrated on the under side. On tightening, the serrations bite into the mating surface providing the locking feature.
