Rivet Screws, or Rivscrews™, are not strictly rivets, since they are not used to clamp two pieces of material together. Instead, the purpose of a rivet screw is to provide a screw threaded post on a thin piece of material which may be too thin to be tapped.
Rivet Screws Diameters
Rivet Screws are available on the FCH Network with Imperial/US diameters that range from #6 to 3/16 and with Metric diameters that range from M2.5 to 3/16. The length of Rivet Screws is usually measured from the point to the underside of the head.
