Compression Rivets

2-Part Rivets, or Compression Rivets, are generally used for attaching layers of fabric or leather together. They consist of two parts, a stem and a cap, and require a a compression tool for installation. The stem is inserted through a pre-punched or pre-drilled hole, and then the cap is added before placing the assembly on a shaped block. A setting tool is pressed into the assembly, which expands the stem into the cap, locking the two together.
