Knurled Pin
Knurled Pins are solid non-threaded press-fit pins that are sometimes used instead of grooved pins, but serve a similar purpose. The knurls can either be axial to the pin, or in different directions. Since the grooves are swaged, material is displaced, increasing the diameter of the pin. As the pin is forced into a hole, the grooves close and the pin locks in place. Knurled Pins have good anti-vibration performance.
