hand Reamers

A hand reamer is a precision cutting tool designed to manually enlarge and finish pre-existing holes to an exact diameter with a smooth surface finish. Made from hardened tool steel, a typical hand reamer features a cylindrical shaft with multiple straight or helical flutes (cutting edges) arranged around its circumference. One end of the shaft is usually machined into a square to fit a tap wrench or T-handle, allowing for controlled manual rotation during use

Commonly used in machine shops for tasks requiring precise fits, such as preparing holes for dowel pins, bushings, or fasteners, and in repair or manufacturing of high-precision components
