Wing Nut, Grade 5
Wingnuts, Wing Nuts or Butterfly Nuts are a type of nut with two large metal "wings", one on each side, so they can be easily tightened and loosened by hand without tools. A similar fastener with a male thread is known as a wing screw or a wing bolt. Wing Nuts can be produced by four distinct methods: cold forging, hot forging, die casting and stamping.Cold Forged Wing Nuts (Type-A), Hot Forged Wing Nuts (Type-B), Die-cast Wing Nuts (Type-C), and Stamped Wing Nuts (Type-D)
