Tapered Pins , All ASME Grades of Steel (ANSI ASME B18. 8.2)
Tapered Pins, or Taper Pins are pins that have one end larger than the other end. They are usually made from machined pin stock or bar stock and are commonly used as a dowel to fasten two parts together, each of which has a tapered hole.
